So we've kinda neglected our duties over the past few days...thats what being away from the house, reffing and teaching gr 12 does to ya. But have no fear....we're back in business so all those of you wondering where your daily plug blog is...have no worries....today is a request directly from the horse's mouth (or ass)... Creps.

Todays plug has the distinction of having the same name as a simpsons character...no its not Kent Brockman....or he doesnt have a beer gut like Barney (or Pat Quinn for that matter) but its MCBAIN!!!! Andrew McBain.

Great stats during the nineties.

Over six seasons he managed to ride the bus for 10 different squads....including three different teams named the 'Senators' perhaps his pic during his early seasons is a hidden clue that he banged ass...who knows?

That's all for now

Plug #4: Todd Ewen

So we decided to switch it up a bit today and bring a scorer to the mix! I know what you're all thinking... we've gone to the loonie bin....well not quite...but we're bringing you a scorer who has been to the Loonie Bin quite often....

Drumroll please......

This prolific scorer notched thirty six goals not in one season, one game or one period but.....

HIS ENTIRE EFFING CAREER!!!

Give it up for Todd Ewen!!!

After 19 teams in 10 years, no wonder he tried to secure the stunt double role to Jawz in the James Bond movies. He's fugly and tall enough to do so.

Career Stats:

Games Played: 518
Goals: 36
Assists: 40
Points: 76
Penalty Minutes: 1911

Nice jibs Todd!!

Plug #3: Eldon "Pokey" Reddick

This plug spent 20 years in hockey at the major jr level or higher and played on 33 teams....averaging that out, he's a bigger suitcase than Jesse Barr.
Not sure how he got his nickname or that fugly hair but rumour has it with those elements he's been unofficially deemed Michael Jackson's brother.

So don't be afraid to 'LET CHA SOUL GO!' to introduce our next NHL plug......Eldon 'Pokey' Reddick

He was also in the running for the Hart Memorial trophy for his play in the 1993-94 season.

I think he should take some of his critics' advice and play the backup role to Travolta in "Saturday night fever"

better luck next time Pokey.

Career Stats:

Games Played: 2
Minutes Played: 80
Goals Against Average: 6.00
Save Percentage: 0.822

Plug #2: Frank "Metamucil" Musil

Today's plug not only is hated by Don Cherry but everyone who has ever played with him.

If you ever had problems going for a dump, he's your man.

Introducing.....Frank "Metamucil" Musil

His career spanned the years 1986-2001 where he tripped over his own feet playing for the Minnesota North Stars, Calgary Flames, two brutal years with the Ottawa Senators and finished with the Edmonton Oilers.
He also had stints in the IHL with the Detroit Vipers who promptly went belly up after witnessing his brilliant play on the ice.

In 1998-99 with the oilers he played in one playoff game - which according to some was 'one too many'.

So here's to his brilliant stats (and the fact that he looks like he rode the short bus in his picture)...'way to go metamucil! - Don Cherry'

Career Sats:

Games Played: 797
Goals: 34
Assists:106
Points: 140
Penalty Minutes: 1241

Plug #1: Mick Vukota

After an illustrious career with the New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning and Montreal Canadiens that ended in 1998, Mick amassed an amazing 46 points and 2071 PIMS in 575 games.

He has also been described as, 'The Worst Skater in NHL History.'

It is also rumoured that Mick did NOT, in fact, kick anyone's ass.
